The substances contained in certain types of moorland, such as fulvic acid and ulmic acid, play a decisive role here. What are the applications of Moort Therapy?

Mud baths are traditionally used for complaints of the joint and support apparatus, skin diseases and various gynecological diseases. They are particularly effective in women's diseases caused by deficiencies of the female hormone estrogen, for example, in unfulfilled desire to have children, osteoporosis or menopausal symptoms.

Following an abdominal surgery, a marshland following the procedure can prevent adhesions in the fallopian tubes. Existing scars or adhesions become softer and cause less discomfort. In addition, mud baths accelerate the healing process in chronic inflammatory diseases of the female reproductive organs.

Not suitable is the intensive heat treatment for acute and subacute inflammation, endometriosis (cell adhesions in the womb lining) or benign and malignant tumors.
